Cope Check

Post a technique. We tear it apart together.

📌 Read this first
Post a technique. We take it apart together.

HOW TO POST ONE
1. Name the technique and where you saw it.
2. Link whatever evidence was offered.
3. Say what you think it does.

HOW TO TAKE ONE APART
- What tissue is this supposed to change, and is that tissue changeable at all?
- What did the cited study actually do? Species, method, ages, was hardware involved?
- Does the professional version use far more force, or surgery? If orthodontists use bone screws and you're using a thumb, that gap is the whole answer.
- What's the worst realistic outcome, and can it be undone?

THE TELLS, FROM CHAPTER 52
Animal studies cited for human protocols. Protocol precision that exceeds what the method can deliver — "120 cycles of 5 seconds" applied to an unmeasurable force is theatre. A guide that admits the effect is temporary and recommends it anyway. "Do it lightly, at your own risk" — that's a liability transfer. Before-and-afters with different lighting, angle or weight.

ALREADY SETTLED, DON'T RE-LITIGATE WITHOUT NEW EVIDENCE
Bonesmashing, thumb pulling, eyelid pulling, mouth taping, face yoga, golden ratio apps, castor oil for growth. All covered in the guides with the reasoning shown. Bring a new study and we'll happily look at it. Bring a TikTok and we won't.

New evidence genuinely does change our answers. That's the point of the board.
